IFTA to hold London film & TV event - win tickets

IRELAND'S academy of film will celebrate a decade of lights, camera, action with a behind-the- scenes movie event in London.

To recognise the 10th year of the Irish Film & Television Academy, IFTA London will present an evening in honour of Irish craftspeople who work behind the cameras in film and television.

A Celebration of Irish Craftsmanship in Film & TV will take place in the London Irish Centre in Camden, at 6pm on Wednesday, March 27.

A panel of industry luminaries will discuss the creative process from the early stages of development from a variety of perspectives including directing, costume design, casting, colouring and cinematography.

Guests will include Irish casting director Ros Hubbard whose credits include Far and Away, The Commitments, and Enemy at the Gates.

Costume designers Joan Bergin (The Tudors, The Prestige) and Consolata Boyle (The Iron Lady, The Queen) will attend, alongside production designers Tom Conroy (Vikings, Intermission) and Donal Woods (My Week With Marilyn, Downton Abbey).
