This brave Englishman went to find out! Professional prankster Jack Jones, from Kent, filmed his latest video on the streets of Belfast - and hairy-faced men were his target.
The YouTube star travelled to the North of Ireland's capital city to touch beards - and the video has seen more than 1.5 million views on Facebook alone.
Some laughed, some chose a few choice words to ask him to leave their personal space.
