In Pictures... Leeds Comhaltas celebrates 45 years

LEEDS Comhaltas held a special 45th anniversary celebration recently attended by over 500 people.

Guests from Ireland included Co. Tipperary traditional singer Deirdre Scanlon, James Kinsella, a fantastic button accordion player from Co. Offaly and Liam Scanlon, a mighty sean-nós dancer from Co. Mayo.

One of the highlights of the weekend was the Knockmore Céilí Band who travelled over from Co. Fermanagh.

And there was also the Leeds Scoraíocht who performed The Woodlands of Cluasach Mhara to great acclaim.
