THE Taoiseach brought his visit to Britain to a close by attending the annual CHAMP St Patrick’s Day gathering at Westminster.
Among those at the event, which was hosted by Tourism Ireland, was Theresa Villiers MP, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland; leader of the Labour Party Ed Miliband and Irish Ambassador Dan Mulhall.
They were joined by Nigel Grimshaw, Chief Superintendent of Police Service of Northern Ireland and Jane Morrice, Deputy Chief Equality Commissioner, Equality Commission Northern Ireland.
Also in attendance was Dr. Frank Mugisha - a Ugandan lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender advocate who has won the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award and is a nominee for the 2014 Noble Peace Prize.
