'Taking the p***?' – Irish pub offers €100 of free pints for return of stolen Trump urinal portrait

A PUB in Dublin is offering an epic reward for the return of its urinal mural of President Donald Trump.

Adelphi on Middle Abbey Street posted the news of the theft of their (thankfully laminated) poster on Facebook with an offer of a $100 bar tab for its safe return.

The bar made headlines around the world in August 2016 when it installed the controversial mural in its men’s bathroom.

It provided a welcome target for punters to relieve themselves until it mysteriously disappeared earlier this week.

“Somebody stole Donald from our urinal and we badly want him back,” pub staff wrote on Facebook.

“As a reward we are offering a €100 beer tab for the person that returns him to us.

“Our bathroom is just not the same without him and the enjoyment of using the urinal without Donald’s face on it has left us feeling sad,” pub staff wrote on Facebook.

They added: “So please can you put the word out and help get Donald back to us.”

While the reason for the bizarre theft remains unclear, some social media users have speculated over a motive.

One wrote: “Here, whoever stole this is really taking the p***.”

While another added: “If they're really willing to take a p*** soaked poster of trump, then maybe they deserve to keep it?”

We eagerly await developments in the ongoing investigation.
