The Irish diaspora around the world read the Irish Proclamation aloud for the 1916 centenary

THE Irish Proclamation was read in every corner of the world to mark yesterday's centenary of the Easter Rising.

RTÉ produced this beautiful video of the diaspora reading parts of the Proclamation everywhere from London to the Niagara Falls in Canada.

The video shows the reach of the Irish diaspora worldwide - with 70million people around the planet claiming Irish heritage.
