A video filmed in Killeshin, Co.Laois, shows what tough Irish country men are prepared to do when the pride of the parish is at stake.
The footage, filmed by Paul Brennan shows a "Tug of War to the death".
"The poor chap sweating in front is Mark O Regan", say Brennan.
Unfortunately O'Regan's team lost the battle but it wasn't for lack of trying.
