Brown Thomas opens Christmas shops in Dublin, Cork and Limerick

OKAY, THIS year has gone by fast-- but this fast?

No, you haven't blinked and woken up on the first of December; it's still September, but some people are into celebrating Christmas early.

And with the year 2020 has been, who can blame them?

Luxury Irish retailer Brown Thomas is infamous for launching their iconic Christmas stores early every year-- and while it's not as early as the August launch last year, there was some surprise among customers at seeing tinsel, trees and decorations twinkling merrily in the middle of September.

 

Shoppers in Limerick, Cork and Dublin can avail of the ultra-Christmassy stores from now until January, but items fro the luxury retailer doesn't come cheap, with the most expensive product on offer being a Christmas tree for €550.

Brown Thomas buying director Rachel Morgans, launching the three Christmas Shops, said:

"The Christmas Shop is renowned for offering the most unique festive offerings.

"We take pride in sourcing the most exquisite decorations and have been on the markets since December to ensure we offer the best for our customers and be the go-to destination for all things Christmas."

The shops were launched yesterday, 17 September, to mark the start of the countdown to Christmas (Just 99 days to go!) and offer everything you'll need for Christmas 2020, from artificial trees, decorations, stockings, crackers, wreaths and hampers.
