Irish man wanted over racial attack on mother and her daughters on London bus

AN IRISH man is wanted by police in connection with a racial attack on a mother and her two daughters on board a west London bus.

Police have released CCTV images of two men, one described as having a strong Irish accent, and another who was bare-chested during the incident, who punched and racially abused the women.

The men are both white and aged between 16-20 years old.

The incident took place on Saturday, August 8 after five men boarded the Route U1 bus at Crown Walk, Uxbridge at 7.45pm.

As the bus continued onto Vine Street in the direction of West Drayton, a 40-year-old woman, who was travelling with her two daughters, was assaulted and racially abused.

The Irish man and the bare-chested man began arguing with the women over seating arrangements.

The mother and her 16-year-old daughter were punched and racially abused by the two men.

The women did not require medical treatment for their injuries.

The 11-year-old daughter was also racially abused by the men, but was not physically injured.

Detectives from Hillingdon would like to speak to the five men in connection with the assault.
