Someone in Ireland is €17 million richer after scooping EuroMillions jackpot

IT COULD be you.

Someone in Ireland has just won a life-changing amount of money in Tuesday night's EuroMillions draw.

The hunt is on for the winner after someone on our little island matched all five numbers and both lucky stars.

All of the winning numbers-- 24, 26, 32, 43 and 46, with lucky stars 6 and 10-- were matched,  meaning that a person, family or syndicate are about to become millionaires. And yeah, we might be just a little bit jealous.

The Irish National Lottery have today announced that the winning ticket was sold in the province of Connacht, so if you bought a ticket in Galway, Mayo, Leitrim, Roscommon or Sligo, you might want to check your numbers!

The West of Ireland was a very lucky place to be yesterday as the lottery also announced that someone in Mayo also scooped the top prize of €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus draw.

A spokesperson for the National Lottery has urged people to check their tickets to see if they have won the "mind-blowing sum of money".

"If they are the lucky winners, we encourage them to sign the back of the ticket, keep it safe and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 01 836 4444," the spokesperson said in a statement.

"We are open from 9.15am tomorrow morning (12 February) and we will make arrangements for you to collect this unbelievable prize.”

It might be time to move to Connacht, lads.
