LONDON claimed a vital Allianz Hurling League Division 2A victory over Wicklow at Arklow on Sunday afternoon.

Mark O'Dwyer, Philip Murphy, and substitute Stephen Lambert all scored goals for Fergus McMahon's improving London side.

With Bernard Gaffney impressive London led at half-time by 1-8 to 1-3 before the visitors' took control after the restart.

A late Mikey Lee goal narrowed the gap, but London carved out an important win.
