Tara Youth

Well done Tara U12’s who defeated North London Shamrock’s at Blits at Ruislip on Saturday 3rd May with a final score of  Tara 6-06 to NLS 3-03. U16 Football League Tara v TCG on Friday 2nd of May in Greenford

Tara played Thomas McCurtain’s in what was to be a great game of high drama right from the start. Tara went into a quick 4pts lead . Tara then had a player sent off and had to play the rest of the game a player down. TCG worked their way into the game and with the help of a penalty went in at half time trailing by just 2pts. TCG  began making the extra man count in the second half of the game and it looked only a matter of time before they would overhaul the Tara’s score. Tara’s fought bravely showing great levels of fitness and with the help of 2 penalties managed to stay ahead.a barnstorming finish by TCG but they could get the scores that mattered. Tara’s hung on to win by one point with a final score Tara’s 4-06 to TCG 4-05. A fantastic game with a great team performance from Tara’s with Tighe Barry, Luke Horgan ,Oisin Bradley, Ryan McCready and Ciaran Black deserving a special mention
