Brothers Pearse

The Brothers Pearse GAA club in Huddersfield are having a race night at  The Irish Centre Fitzwilliam Street Huddersfield on Friday 8th August, under orders 8 00 pm, as part of there Diamond Jubilee Year 2014. 60 years of Gaelic Games In Huddersfield.

The night will consist of six races, betting , auction, raffles etc, we are looking for support on the night all proceeds going into the Diamond Jubilee fund, so do come along. Tickets are now available for the “Diamond Jubilee Dinner Dance” when our special guest will be “An Uachtaran” Liam O Neill President of The G,A. Croydon Camogie Club Notes

Senior team had a narrow loss to Tara in the League final on Sunday last on a scoreline of 1-4 to 1-6. This was a great team performance by all the Croydon girls. The club are holding juvenile sessions for 6-16 year old girls every Tuesday from 6.30 to 7.30 at Poulter Park. Equipment will be provided. Eire Og

We are delighted to announce that we have secured the use of a pitch and changing rooms in Downhill’s Park, Haringey N17 6AP. Last Saturday we installed the posts on the pitch and got access to the changing rooms. To mark the occasion we had a social in the park with our partner club Holloway Gaels Ladies.

Training this week is on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:45 pm at Downhill’s Park, Haringey, N17 6AP. We are a friendly, and social club and welcome players of all abilities. KKG Men’s Team: To progress to the semi- final stage KKG now need to defeat St Kieran’s in the last group game in two weeks’ time. Kingdom Kerry Gaels train this Thursday 24rd July at 7.45pm.All new players are welcome. Moving to London? KKG GAA club, a team trained by former London inter-county manager Noel Dunning, are under a new regime and have big plans for 2014.

Long established in the heart of the Irish community, KKG is a thriving club that prides its self in looking after its members in every way possible. Tara Youths

It is with great sadness that we write to inform you of the sad news that Mrs Deirdre Angland, passed away Monday afternoon the 14th of July. Deidre’s children are involved in the Tara club. We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and ask you to keep them all in your prayers. Details of Deirdre’s funeral arrangements are as follows: Wednesday 23rd July 2014. 7pm received into St Sebastian & Pancras Catholic Church, 22 Hay Lane, Kingsbury NW9 ONG. Funeral Mass, Thursday 24th July 2014 at 12pm with Burial afterwards at Hendon Cemetery, Holders Hill Road, London NW7 1NB. Family flowers only. There will be a collection box at the church should anyone wish to make a donation towards Leukaemia Research at Hammersmith Hospital.

Training: We will return on Friday the 29th of August at 6.30pm. Tara Summer Camp: will take place at Kingsbury Town Football Club on the Monday the 28th of July until Friday the 1st of August to finish up the camp with presentations from a very special guest. Last weeks ABC was a fantastic event for us with 4 pieces of silverware being brought home. Excellent competition, well run, well organised and very much enjoyed. Well done to all involved, a job well done. Please note that under 6,8,10 trading has now ceased for the summer. The other age groups will continue as per normal.

St Dympnas

The seniors are next in action on Sunday 3rd August again against Eire Og in the League in Oxford. Underage:  Well done to our u16s who were involved with the Hertfordshire team that that took on Warwickshire in the All Britain Final on Sunday. Juniors: The junior team have kept their interest in the championship going by defeating Dulwich Harps last Sunday at Greenford. Best on the day were Cormac McGarvey, Gavin McEvoy, Patrick Flynn and Kevin Browne with two goals. Final score TCG 2-16 Dulwich Harps 0-5.
