Ulster name side to face Emirates Lions this Friday

Head Coach Dan McFarland has announced the Ulster lineup for their Round 5 clash against the Emirates Lions this Friday. Ulster are aiming to keep their unbeaten home record intact this season, 

Club captain Iain Henderson returns to the side. He makes his first appearance of the season since returning from the Rugby World Cup. In the second row Alan O’Connor joins him.

The front row consists of Andrew Warwick at loosehead prop. He is joined by hooker Rob Herring and academy prop Scott Wilson.

In the back row Dave Ewers starts on the blindside, with flanker Reuben Crothers, and David McCann

Scrum-half Nathan Doak starts alongside Jake Flannery at ten. Stuart McCloskey and James Hume started in midfield.

Jacob Stockdale and Rob Baloucoune starts on the wings. Stewart Moore completes the side from full-back.

On the bench, McFarland welcomes back tighthead prop Marty Moore, who has been sidelined since January. Academy back-rower Lorcan McLoughlin is a new addition to the bench, hoping to make his debut for Ulster. The replacements also include John Andrew, Eric O’Sullivan, Harry Sheridan, John Cooney, Billy Burns, and Mike Lowry.

The game at Kingspan Stadium is scheduled to kick off at 7:35pm.
