A LONDON-BASED fire safety firm will extend its reach in Ireland after acquiring a Limerick business.
Ranger Fire and Security confirmed its acquisition of Prestige Detection Systems Ltd (PDSL) this week.
Established in 2005, PDSL provides fire, security and emergency response systems for businesses and community service providers throughout Irelan – although it has a particular focus on the Munster region and Galway.
“The company has built a strong reputation for technical expertise and compliance with the highest design and installation standards,” Ranger said in a statement.
Managing director Dave Enright, will remain in post under the new owners, along with the rest of the Irish firm’s existing leadership team, it has been confirmed.
“We’re excited to join the Ranger Group and look forward to working alongside some of the most respected businesses in the industry,” Mr Enright said.
“This partnership will allow us to continue delivering the same high-quality, customer-focused service that our clients expect, while gaining access to wider expertise, resources and cross-selling opportunities that Ranger offers,” he added.
For Ranger Fire and Security, the acquisition marks another milestone in their expansion in Ireland.
“The addition of PDSL to Ranger marks another key milestone in our expansion across Ireland. Dave and his team bring exceptional experience, technical skill and a well-earned reputation for excellence that will help us further enhance Ranger’s services,” Ranger Fire and Security CEO, Mark Bridges said.
“The team’s focus on compliance, customer service and quality aligns perfectly with our mission to be the one-stop provider for fire and security services across the UK and Ireland,” he added.
Ranger’s Limerick acquisition marks the firm’s fourth in Ireland, alongside Dublin’s Aqua Fire Prevention and KSS Fire Suppression and their purchase of the B-Safe Group in Ballintemple, Co. Cork in September.
