JONATHAN Rhys Meyers is to shoot the second series of hit TV show Dracula.
The Irish heartthrob reportedly confirmed that a new season of the show, which he also co-produces, had been commissioned. Rhys Meyer unveiled the news at a party thrown by actress Goldie Hawn in London.
Dracula features a strong Irish cast with Katie McGrath from Bray and Dublin native Victoria Smurfit, who now resides in Los Angeles. Smurfit plays the fashion forward vampire slayer, Lady Jayne Wetherby.
Meyers is also set to play the late punk singer Joe Strummer in a film about The Clash, with filming due to get underway later this year.
