IRISH actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been spotted filming for his latest role in the capital, suitably dressed as a punk star.
The Cork native wore a strapped on guitar, ripped black jeans and biker boots to emulate the late Clash frontman, Joe Strummer for the new film London Town.
As he returned to work, Meyers, 37, apologised for his “minor relapse” in May where he was seen drinking vodka in the street.
“I made a mistake and feel embarrassed,” he said. “This is just a blip in my recovery, I’m living a healthy life.”
London Town also stars Dougray Scott and Daniel Huttlestone.
The film started shooting in London at the end of last month and will continue throughout July.
