Top restaurant launches St Patrick’s Day menu and delivery service which also supports vital charities

A LONDON restaurant has launched a home delivery St Patrick’s Day menu in support of two charities operating in the capital.

Rotunda Bar and Restaurant, in Kings Cross, revealed a selection of finish at home restaurant delivery boxes to mark St. Patrick’s Day this week.

Added to the restaurant’s Rotunda @ Home range, the items celebrate Irish food and drink while also including donations to two charities - The Clink Charity and The London Irish Centre.

The Clink provides training programmes in prisons across the UK, giving inmates the skills needed to secure work in the hospitality industry after release.

Based in Camden, the London Irish Centre provides a hub of culture and support for London’s Irish community, with an outreach programme to provide care for those in need.

Priced at £95 for two people, the 5-course restaurant kits are available nationwide, to enjoy on St. Patrick’s Day itself, March 17, and the weekends before and after.

Upgrade options include wine and Irish inspired cocktails such as a Black Velvet – Champagne and Guinness, and an Irish Boulevardier – similar to a Negroni but with Irish Whiskey instead of gin.

How to videos will also be available on Rotunda’s website with steps to prepare and mix the cocktails.

£10 from the 5 course menu will be donated to the charities and for every box sold Rotunda will make a further donation of £5, bringing the total donation to £15 per sale.

Each sale also includes free entry into a prize draw with prizes including a summer barbecue for up to ten people in Rotunda bar and restaurant and four tickets to The 2022 Clink Charity Ball at the Royal Lancaster.

The Clink works in partnership with Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation service to provide
