Conor McGregor is opening his very own Irish pub in Dublin

CONOR MCGREGOR fans could soon have another reason to visit Ireland.

The UFC icon has been quietly developing his very own Irish pub in the Dublin district of Crumlin where he grew up.

According to Dublin Live, McGregor has spent close to €2million on the Black Forge pub.

On top of that, the wealthy MMA star has splashed out a further €1million in renovating the premises ahead of a grand reopening.

While the details of McGregor’s plans for the pub remain scarce, it is thought that he is preparing to reopening the venue as a gastro pub.

That would likely see it offer a menu of familiar Irish fare alongside all the usual tipples.

Guinness will likely be on tap while you can be sure the pub will come fully stocked with bottles of McGregor’s signature Proper No Twelve whiskey.

The Irishman has been busy with his fight career and fiancée Dee Devlin, who is expecting their third child.

However, he has made regular trips to the pub to see how work is progressing.

His plans for the venue remain something of a secret.

McGregor could, for example, deck the interior out with souvenirs and memorabilia from his incredible fighting career to date.

Alternatively, he may be eager to offer a classier venue to Crumlin locals with a focus on fine dining and equally enticing drinks.

Whatever the case, McGregor fans and Dublin locals alike will be relishing the reopening of the Black Forge and the beginning of another fascinating chapter in the fighter’s story.
