Donald Trump's daughter accuses media of keeping public 'mentally enslaved'

THE DAUGHTER of Donald Trump has accused the media of trying to 'mentally enslave' people.

Tiffany Trump made a rare public appearance on Tuesday night to speak at the Republican National Convention.

She urged voters to support her father in upcoming election, and looked to rally people against the media, the tech giants of the world and the American education system.

"People must recognise that our thoughts, our opinions, and even the choice of who we vote for are being manipulated and invisibly coerced by the media and tech giants," the 26-year-old said.

"If you tune into the media, you get one biased opinion or another. And what you share if it doesn't fit into the narrative that they seek to promote, then it's either ignored or deemed a lie, regardless of the truth.

"This manipulation of what information we receive, impedes our freedoms, rather allowing Americans to form our own beliefs.

"This misinformation system keeps people mentally enslaved to the ideas they deem correct."

Ms Trump went on to question why the American people should allow themselves to put up with such manipulation, encouraging them that vote for her father is a vote from freedom and opportunity.

"This is a fight for freedom versus oppression, for opportunity versus stagnation, a fight to keep America true to America," she continued.

"I urge you to make judgement based on results and not rhetoric."

It comes just a day after Donald Trump's Jr's Irish girlfriend sent social media wild after a bizarre speech where she screamed in an auditorium with no one else there.
