England fans filmed performing Nazi salutes and shouting anti-Semitic slurs at World Cup

A group of English football fans are being sought after by British police and the Football Association after they were filmed performing Nazi salutes in a bar in Russia.

The video, which emerged on social media, shows the men shouting “Sieg Heil.”

It was recorded in Volgograd on Monday, the city where England played their first game of the World Cup against Tunisia.

Detective superintendent Caroline Marsh, who is leading the British police investigations for the event, said: “The abhorrent behaviour seen in this video is completely unacceptable and it will not be tolerated.

“Our investigation team in the UK is already making swift inquiries to identify those involved and will seek to take all appropriate action against them.”

The FA also released a statement condemning the actions of the men in the video.

They said: “The disgraceful conduct of the individuals in this video does not represent the values of the majority of English football fans supporting the team in Russia.”
