THE GAME of Thrones Single Malt Whisky Collection is coming.
In celebration of the eighth and final season of the critically-acclaimed TV series, Game of Thrones, DIAGEO and HBO are releasing a limited-edition collection of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies celebrating the show.
The Game of Thrones Single Malt Scotch Whisky Collection features eight scotches, each paired with one of the iconic Houses of Westeros, as well as the Night’s Watch, giving fans an authentic taste of the Seven Kingdoms and beyond.
And this new limited-edition collection has just become available to pre-order from Amazon in select European countries and through www.malts.com.
For those that order early, the Games of Thrones Single Malt Whisky Collection will start to land on doorsteps from February 19th.
It’s inspired by the iconic characters and the creative world of Westeros and beyond and arrive to tide fans over during their wait for the eighth and final season of the show.
It’s joining White Walker by Johnnie Walker, a limited-edition blend inspired by the most enigmatic and feared characters on Game of Thrones— the White Walkers.
The Game of Thrones Single Malt Scotch Whisky Collection features eight Scotch whiskeys paired with one of the iconic Houses of Westeros, as well as the “Night’s Watch”.
The House Targaryen crest, for example, features on the whiskey produced by the Cardhu Distillery which was first established in 1824.
The House Greyjoy emblem features on the tipple produced by Talisker while Lagavulin, a distillery with a reputation for making some of the best scotches in the world, is presented under the banner of House Lannister.
There’s even a Night’s Watch whiskey which comes from the Oban Bay Reserve and is presented in a particularly stylish sleek, black bottle.
A total of eight different scotches have been produced which, coincidentally, matches the number of series Game of Thrones is set to run to.
