Man, 34, pleads guilty to murder of Irish mother 13 years ago

A MAN has pleaded guilty to the murder of an Irish mother of three in her Co Louth home 13 years ago. 

Anthony Lambe, 34 from Annadrumman, Castleblayney Co Monaghan, appeared in front of Justice Patrick McCarthy at the Central Criminal Court earlier this morning where he admitted the charge of murder.

Ms White, 43, was found murdered in her home beside Ice House Hill Park in Dundalk, Co Louth, on April 6 2005, according to RTÉ.

The mother-of-three had been stabbed a number of times.

Lambe will be sentenced later today.
