Welcome to Ireland - Manchester United have their team bus clamped in Dublin

MANCHESTER United manager Jose Mourinho is often accused of parking the bus, but this is really taking the biscuit.

With the Red Devils in town to play Sampdoria at the Aviva Stadium on Wednesday night, a duteous Dublin clamper has punished the club for parking their team bus in the wrong spot.

You couldn’t make it up.

Pictures of the clamping are spreading like wildfire on twitter with many joking that a Liverpool fan must have been involved.

“Bet you it was a scouser,” joked one amused fan.

“Only in Ireland would the Manchester United bus get clamped,” said another.

With tens of thousands of spectators in the Irish capital for the game, it seems baffling to say the least that the clamper involved thought disabling the vehicle would be a good idea.

If Manchester United can’t escape the Dublin clampers, who can?

We personally can’t wait to hear what Jose Mourinho has to say about his players’ pre-game warm up being delayed.

Manchester United won the match 2-1.
