Northern Irish man Robert Gibson missing in London after failing to return from a walk

POLICE in Lambeth have appealed for the public's help to find a Northern Irish man who has been missing from his home in Norwood, London since last Monday, June 13.

According to the Metropolitan Police, 45-year-old Robert Gibson left his home in Gipsy Hill, SE19 at 3pm on June 13 to go for a walk.

Mr Gibson, who is from Ballinderry in Derry, was last seen later that day at the Co-operative supermarket in Gipsy Hill, police said.

According to the charity Missing People, there was also a possible later sighting near East Croydon Railway Station.

His family are growing increasingly concerned for his safety and wellbeing.

Mr Gibson is described as being white, six foot tall, slim build, has grey/silver hair and wears black-rimmed Prada glasses.

He was possibly wearing a blue/grey T-shirt with green/brown khaki trousers.

He is known to frequent the Dulwich and Sydenham areas, according to a Metropolitan Police report.

Anyone with information regarding Robert Gibson's whereabouts should call police in Lambeth on 101 or Missing People on 116 000.
