PICTURE: Did you see this morning's eclipse?

AMATEUR astronomers all over Britain spent the morning craning their necks to catch a glimpse of the solar eclipse.

For a brief few moments at about 9.35am today, the moon passed between the Earth and the sun on its orbit, causing a rare full solar eclipse.

The Irish Post contributor and photographer Gerry Molumby captured this amazing picture in Selston in Nottinghamshire.
