Police in Luton fear for missing Irish woman

POLICE in Luton are appealing for information about a missing Irish woman.

Bedfordshire Police say they are becoming "increasingly concerned" about 24-year-old Elizabeth Hanrahan, who disappeared from a relative’s home in Luton in the early hours of Thursday, February 27.

The young woman, originally from Cheshire, had been staying at her aunt’s home in Heswell Court, Bailey Street, and was last seen on Luton's Hitchin Road wearing a white dressing gown.

Ms Hanrahan  speaks with an Irish accent and is described as being a white woman of medium build, around five feet six inches tall, with blue eyes and dark hair.

Although she was last seen wearing just a dressing gown, it is believed that she had access to other outfits, including dark blue jeans, black trousers, a long sleeved red top and a white jumper.

People with information about Ms Hanrahan's whereabouts are asked to contact the Missing Persons Unit at Bedfordshire Police by calling 101 or texting information to 07786 200 011.
