LOOKING FOR something to help you stand out from the crowd on St. Patrick’s Day?
Athletic apparel firm Brooks Running has just the thing.
They are called Shamrock shoes and they could help you enjoy the luck of the Irish during the annual festivities on March 17th.
Essentially a pair of running shoes they feature strikingly dark green shamrocks against a light green background on the outside and inner sole.
The shoes have gone down a storm in the US already with Brooks Running confirming that the Shamrock Launch 6 shoe has already sold out on their official website.
There are still plenty up for grabs though with the likes of Dick’s Sporting Goods and Road Runner Sports currently stocking the strikingly Irish footwear.
Some even come in a limited-edition green and rainbow box for the true Irish among us.
The perfect footwear for a marathon, 5k or night out on the town, there will be those who might say this distinctive footwear is a little on the garish side.
Those people probably need to lighten up though and get in the spirit of this magical time of year, when green is definitely the colour and Guinness is certainly the drink of choice.
