Spend a unique night at the Guinness Storehouse as Airbnb turn Gravity Bar into luxury bedroom

GUINNESS and Airbnb have teamed up to give one lucky Guinness fan the experience of a lifetime, which will see them spending a night in the famous brewery.

For one night only, the famous Gravity Bar with its 360° views of Dublin will be turned into a luxurious Guinness-themed penthouse for one lucky winner and a friend.

The room, complete with your very own tasting bar and butler, was curated by renowned interior designer Graham O’Donnell and features a balance of contemporary Irish craft furniture alongside original artifacts from the Guinness Archives.

The room also comes with a Guinness bed and pool table.

The unique competition will also see the winners enjoy a full storehouse experience, with a private tour and a six-course meal from a Guinness-inspired menu.

The next morning after breakfast, Brewer Peter Simpson will teach the winner all about the basics of brewing and the various ingredients of the famous stout.

The St James's Gate Brewery has been open to visitors since 2000 and the building in which the storehouse is located was built in 1902.

But while the famous brewery has welcomed presidents and royalty alike, none of them ever got to stay the night.

Paul Carty, Managing Director of the Guinness Storehouse, said: "The lucky winner will be stepping into our founder’s shoes and given the keys to a legacy experience that’s filled with hundreds of years of history."

In 2016, the attraction welcomed 1.65million visitors from around the world.
