Video of trampoline blown onto M7 in Limerick by Storm Brendan goes viral

FOOTAGE has emerged showing cars veering around a trampoline which has been blown onto the M7 near Limerick.

The remarkable video, posted by on Twitter by Michael Finnan, is a stark - and hilarious - window into the severity of Storm Brendan, which has begun to take its toll on the country.

Cars can be seen carefully navigating their way past the trampoline, which has been plonked upright in the middle of the carriage way (talk about annoying middle-lane drivers!).

"Anyone loose (sic) a trampoline?" Asked Michael.

His video has been liked over 6,000 times since he posted it on Monday morning.

By the looks of it, the netting surrounding the trampoline had been slightly damaged following what was likely an epic escape from whatever garden it previously called home, but other than that, the thing looked to be in good knick.

Maybe, instead of removing, authorities could just shift it the side of the road so that, in the event of heavy traffic, road users can nip out and have a little bounce, y'know, to release a bit of stress.

Met Eireann have advised members of the pubic to stay indoors amid the extreme weather conditions, but nuts to that, I say.

If there're trampolines knocking around everywhere, it seems all the fun to be had is outside.
