The attack happened on Friday night.
A woman in her 60s was punched by a man at 11.30pm on July 20 in the area of Lurgan in County Armagh.
The force of the punch led her to fall on the ground, causing further injuries.
The perpetrator was described as dark-haired and in his 30s.
DUP MLA Carla Lockhart said the attack was "absolutely disgraceful," calling on anyone with information to contact police.
