IRISH BOXING SUPERSTAR Kellie Harrington has come on top again, but this time it's not in the ring, it's in the literary department.
The Portland Row native has won Irish Sports Book of the Year at the 2022 An Post Irish Book Awards.

The book titled 'Kellie' written by well-known author Roddy Doyle goes into details about the Dubliners upbringing, her journey to Tokyo to win a gold medal, and her unrivalled recent success in the ring
The 32-year-old scooped the award up at the The Convention Centre in Dublin on Wednesday
Harrington’s book was chosen as the winner ahead of five other nominees on the shortlist. She beat the books like A History of the GAA in 100 Objects – Siobhán Doyle (Merrion Press) and The Rodfather – Roddy Collins, with Paul Howard (Sandycove) to the prize.
