BRILLIANT Irish outfit The Gloaming are in Britain later this month for a run of gigs in support of their well-received self-title debut album.
The band are made up of fiddle master Martin Hayes, guitarist Dennis Cahill, sean-nós singer Iarla Ó Lionáird, hardanger innovator Caoimhin Ó Raghallaigh and New York pianist Thomas Bartlett (aka Doveman)
They play Glasgow City Hall on January 22 as part of the Celtic Connections festival before heading to The Sage Gateshead (23) and London’s Union Chapel (24).
