Rapper Post Malone and chat show host Jimmy Fallon belt out The Wild Rover in New York bar

US rapper Post Malone and Jimmy Fallon hit up an Irish bar in New York City to have a good old Irish sing-along.

Thankfully, someone was on hand to film it for the rest of us to enjoy!

The Rockstar and Congratulations singer made an appearance on Jimmy Fallon's late night chat show during the week, and both men kept the party going afterwards by hitting up Paddy Reilly’s Music Bar in New York City for some post-work pints.

The two lads then took to stage and joined some traditional Irish musicians for a rousing rendition of The Dubliners classic tune The Wild Rover.

Granted Fallon had to consistently eye the lyrics on his phone, but they both definitely get an A for effort.

Mr Malone is no stranger to a bit of craic, as he sang The Auld Triangle with a group of Irish J1 students after his show in LA a few months back.

Also, he popped in The Old Storehouse Pub in Dublin's Temple Bar over the summer where he clapped along to a trad session and performed a cover of Bob Dylan's famous track Don't Think Twice, It's All Right as well as a few other tunes.

Whether you're a fan of his music or not, there's no denying he seems like a sound fellow!
