DECLAN DONNELLY returned to his Irish roots recently with a trip to Tyneside Irish Centre - now he's gone one step further this week.
Dec, joined by his TV sidekick Anthony McPartlin, caused more than a stir when they visited Ireland.

The Saturday night favourites, who are currently filming Britain's Got Talent on ITV, surprised students when they dropped in to the National University of Ireland, Maynooth.
While the students joked their appearance was 'next level exam procrastination' in the run up to summer finals, the duo were more than happy to stop and pose for photos with fans.
There appearance did, however, fuel speculation that one of the university 's students might be set to appear on BGT.
There was loads of noise outside so I went down to see and they were just leaving hahaha. Apparently someone from BGT goes to maynooth 😂😂
