Irish backpacker skypes shocked parents whilst jumping out of a plane

AN IRISHMAN gave his parents the shock of a lifetime when he skyped them from the air during the Sydney leg of his around-the-world trip.

At first Roger Ryan's parents think he's calling them from a bus, but they soon realise he's about to jump off a plane at 14,000 ft.

The skydiving enthusiast then free-falls over the stunning Australian city, whilst his parents' hilarious reactions are caught on camera.

The footage was captured by Hostelworld, a hostel booking website, who offered Roger the chance to take part in a skydive with a twist!
