Irish sea swimmers bare all for cheeky calendar highlighting important issues

A NEW calendar with a cheeky theme has been designed to spread important messages about the environment.

The Flossie and The Beach Cleaners 2021 Calendar features a selection of Irish sea swimmers who have (nearly) bared all to help promote a range of environmentally friendly objectives.

“The calendar covers four very important issues,” the Dublin-based Flossie and The Beach Cleaners charity explained, adding: “Ocean pollution, he Beauty of Dublin Bay, humour and being Covid-free.”

“We want to make people smile in these crazy times and remind them that whilst the Coronavirus is here we can still appreciate the beauty of where we live whilst cleaning the planet,” they add.

“Every model is wearing a piece of rubbish/pollution that we have collected from the beaches or pulled out of the sea.

“All of our cheeky models are sea swimmers and have extreme love for the sea, that’s why they agreed to do the calendar.”

Flossie and The Beach Cleaners is a marine environmental charity that focuses on cleaning the beaches to protect the marine life alongside junior and senior school workshops on plastic pollution and climate change.

This charity was formed due to the vision of young Dubliner Flossie Donnelly, who is now 13 years old and fully involved with the charity when she is not at school.

All proceeds of the calendar will support the Flossie and The Beach Cleaners charity to continue their workshop education as well as their mission to clean the oceans and seas of plastic pollution.
