Irish students welcome Star Wars to Donegal with musical tribute

A GROUP of students in Co. Donegal have created a music video in honour of the next Star Wars movie, which will be filmed in Ireland.

The movie - which has previously been filmed on the Skellig Islands in Co. Kerry - will also be heading to Co. Donegal for the next instalment of the film franchise, and these young musicians have offered their own musical tribute to welcome the cast and crew.

Teacher Caroline Glackin and her students from the Malin Head Afterschool's Music Madness Squad used the beautiful Irish coastline as their backdrop while playing their accordions and whistles.

You may also spot a Darth Vader figurine which seems to pop up now and again.
