Poll reveals what habit Irish people would dump their significant other for

TODAY, now more than ever, relationships are hard to maintain.

With the popularity of dating apps and social media higher now more than ever, it seems like there are more singletons out there as people can't choose what exactly they want from being a part of a couple.

Then there are those few lucky ones that find their soulmate and disappear off the face of the earth, deep in a heady state of love that prevents them wanting to socialise with anyone other than their one and only.

Despite the power of true love, it seems like there are a few things that don't even survive a loving relationship - namely, bad habits of your lover in the bathroom.

In a poll carried out by Sanctuary Bathrooms in Belfast, the results of one's temporary laziness seem to have a lasting effect as customers revealed how likely they'd be to split up with their spouse or loved one based on their bathroom habits.

The results of the poll showed that... 37% of customers would rethink their relationship if their significant other went to the toilet with the door open. 54% of male participants would reconsider their bond with their partner after seeing stains in a toilet bowl meanwhile 57% of female participants said they'd get cold feet about staying in a relationship if their S/O kept urinating on the seat and not flushing.

Next time you're in a hurry and not bothered to flush? Think again - your love life could depend on it!
