Appeal for missing Sean Doyle who suddenly quit job before saying he was 'going to see his mum'

POLICE have renewed their appeal for information about Sean Doyle, who has been missing for three days.

The 27-year-old from Kingsbridge in Devon was last seen at around 10.40am on Tuesday, February 13 at the Creeks End Public House in the town.

He was wearing a dark green jacket with a grey lined hoody over a maroon hoody, jeans and dark boots.

Doyle is also believed to be in possession of a dark coloured rucksack.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Doyle suddenly quit his job on Tuesday morning before saying he was going to visit his mum in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

Doyle’s stepmother Susanna Doyle told the paper that he left for his job as a binman at the usual time of 5am on Tuesday morning.

However she added that at 9.30am, he suddenly quit his job, got off the lorry and said he was going to visit his mum in Stockport, almost 300 miles away.

He has not been seen since being spotted in the Creeks End pub in Kingsbridge later that morning and police are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Doyle is described as white, around 6ft 1in tall with a slim build.

He has brown hair with shaved sides (his hair appears longer in the released photos).

Anyone who has any information is urged to phone the police on 101 and quote log 511 of February 13, 2018.
