Coolio is coming to Ireland this summer

COUNTY DUBLIN is set to be transformed into a ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ this summer.

That’s because legendary 90s rapper Coolio is coming to Ireland for a one-off gig at Leopardstown Racecourse this June.

We’ll ‘C U When You Get There’ for an unforgettable night of rap-led nostalgia from a living legend of the music industry.

Coolio is performing at the first of a series of Bulmers Live events set to take place at the racecourse in a gig that’s guaranteed to be ‘Too Hot’ for some to handle.

Best known for a string of Top 10 hits, Coolio first hit the big-time with the soundtrack to the hit Michelle Pfeiffer movie Dangerous Minds.

He’s also fondly remembered for performing the theme song for the hit kid’s TV comedy series Kenan & Kel. ‘Oh La La’ indeed.

Coolio will be performing at Leopardstown Racecourse on June 8th with advance tickets priced at €17. Tickets can also be purchased on the day for €20.

Pat Keogh, CEO of Leopardstown Racecourse said: "Every year, we always look forward to our Bulmers Live evenings here at Leopardstown and this year is no different. We’re really excited to announce this year’s line-up."

A further seven artists are set to be revealed in the coming days.

One thing is certain: Coolio’s performance at Leopardstown is guaranteed to be a ‘Fantastic Voyage’ (that’s one of his lesser known hits).
