Gardaí in Portlaoise are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision that occurred on the M7 Motorway northbound at junction 17 on Monday 15th October, 2018.
The collision occurred at approximately 6p.m. and involved a male pedestrian and a vehicle.
The pedestrian, a 15 year old, was seriously injured and taken to Tallaght Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The male driver of the truck was uninjured.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or any drivers/taxi drivers who may have ‘Dash Cam’ footage of the incident to come forward.
