Irishman who filmed Vegas trip in selfie mode gets to do the trip over

THE IRISHMAN who became an internet hit after accidentally filming his Las Vegas trip in selfie mode has been offered a do-over by the city.

Joseph Griffin was a viral hit on Facebook when his son uploaded the video from his father's trip.

Evan Griffin loaned his father his GoPro camera for the holiday so that he could capture the sights on the famous Vegas strip - but Mr Griffin struggled with the logistics of the camera.

It was not until he returned from the trip that Mr Griffin realised he had the GoPro set in selfie mode for the entire video - so rather than the incredible views of Vegas, the four-minute video was made up of close-ups of Mr Griffin himself.

But the Las Vegas Visitors and Convention Authority decided that, after 7 million views online, Mr Griffin deserved a second chance at the trip.

And in this latest video, we can see the first action-packed day of Mr Griffin's trip to Vegas - this time with son Evan in tow.

The trip this time saw Mr Griffin travel around Vegas in style - first in a limo and then in a helicopter - and even try zip lining.

If he entertained you the first time around, he certainly won't let you down this time...
