Liam Gallagher is coming back to Ireland this summer for a huge outdoor gig

LIAM GALLAGHER is coming back to Ireland and he’s already relishing his return to the Emerald Isle.

The former Oasis icon took to Twitter to announce he would be back in Cork this summer as part of a series of gigs taking place at the Irish Independent Park rugby stadium.

The huge outdoor gig is taking place at the venue on Sunday, June 23rd and is one of several set to take place in Cork as part of a series of summer gigs.

George Ezra kicks things off on Thursday, June 20th with a sell-out gig at the ground.

Next up are The Coronas, who will be joined by Sigrid and All Tvvins, on Saturday, June 22nd.

Hozier is also peprforming in Cork, with support from Maggie Rogers, on Tuesday, June 25th.

Tickets for Gallagher’s open air performance go on sale at 8:30am this Friday with tickets available from €49.90, including booking fee.

Gallagher has already expressed his excitement at returning to the Emerald Isle, with the Oasis frontman’s Irish roots already well established.
