A £3m court action could decimate the GAA in London.
The former GAA grounds in New Eltham are the source of the dispute after Novalong, an Irish-backed firm, bought an option to develop the 13 acre property for £500,000 in 2000.
The action goes right to the top of Croke Park and involves Director General Paraic Duffy who is one of four trustees of New Eltham. He has been issued with High Court proceedings, along with Michael Dermot O’Brian, Seamus Howlin and Jimmy O’Gorman.
London GAA said the trustees are now managing the dispute and they are not in a position to comment.
