Mark Ruffalo reaches out to Belfast toddler who went viral with reaction to Incredible Hulk

HOLLYWOOD STAR Mark Ruffalo has reached out to a Belfast toddler and her father after a video of the infant reacting to the actor transforming into the Incredible Hulk went viral online.

Two-year-old Clara Rafferty melted hearts the world over when her father, comedian Paddy Rafferty, shared a video of her hilariously sweet reaction online.

In the clip, Clara can be seen waving her finger and saying “No, no” as The Hulk undergoes his trademark metamorphosis.

Stunned buy what she has seen, the toddler’s face is a picture with the clip proving hugely popular online in the hours and days since.

It wasn’t long before Ruffalo, who played Dr. Bruce Banner/The Hulk in The Avengers movies spotting the clip and decided to get involved.

Sharing the adorable clip with his Twitter followers, Ruffalo captioned the video: "The secret way of stopping Dr. Banner from turning into the Hulk."

A successful comedian in his own right with two headline shows on the way at the SSE Arena, Paddy Rafferty was nevertheless blown away by Ruffalo’s retweet.

"It's a bit surreal that he’s seen it and funny that she’s oblivious to how many people have seen her reaction,” he told Belfast Live.

Rafferty later returned to Twitter to comment further, tweeting: "The actual #Hulk himself has shared my video, insane.

"Gonna get Clara to do support for me at my SSE shows. Just her reacting to videos of stuff."
