New mural revealed paying homage to one of Ireland's biggest stars

THE existing mural of Donald Trump has been joined by a familiar Irish face.

The face of one half of the Rubberbandits, Blindboy Boatclub has been painted on the wall of Andrew's Lane Theatre in Dublin.

The cutting comedian has been honoured by Subset, a collective of artists responsible for the former Stormzy mural in Smithfield and that of Donald Trump also on the theatre.

Blindboy of the Rubberbandits tweeted his appreciation of the new artwork, reminiscing on former days of gigging in Dublin.

He wrote: "Mural by @SubsetDublin in Andrews lane. By chance, this venue is where we did our first proper gig in Dublin around 10 years ago. I smoked a pre gig fag against this spot on the wall."

The addition marks a stark contrast between Trump and Boatclub, showing the two different influences alive today.
