THE HISTORIC Crown Moran Hotel in Cricklewood has been handed over to its new owners The Dalata Hotel Group.
As of February 2, the north London hotel, and eight other venues previously owned by the Moran Bewley’s Hotel Group, became the property of Dalata — which operates 38 hotels in Ireland, many under their Maldron Hotel brand.
Founded in June 2007 by Pat McCann, former Chief Executive of the Jurys Doyle Hotel Group, Dalata is reported to have paid €455m to acquire the extensive Moran Bewley’s portfolio earlier this year.
The deal included the group’s two London venues — the Crown Moran and Chiswick Moran hotels – alongside their Bewley’s properties across Manchester, Leeds and Dublin.
