The shooting happened at 11pm last night.
One man was shot in west Dublin on October 14.
The victim was in the Neilstown area of the county's capital when a gunman forced his way into a residence.
He was then rushed to Tallaght Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
It's thought his injuries are not life-threatening.
Gardaí in Ronanstown are appealing for witnesses.
