Open casting call for extras to appear in new Irish film staring Emily Blunt and '50 Shades of Grey' actor Jamie Dornan

IF YOU’VE been looking for your fifteen minutes of fame, then look no further.

A casting company based in Ireland are looking for extras to star alongside ‘50 Shades of Grey’ actor Jamie Dornan and ‘A Quiet Place’ actress Emily Blunt.

West Coast Casting company launched an appeal for eager budding actors of all ages to come along to the open casting call for new film ‘Wild Mountain Thyme’, which will be filmed in Ballina, County Mayo.

The company are looking for both adults and children to fill the background of the film, which is based on the play ‘Outside Mullingar’ by playwright John Patrick Stanley, and the best part—apart from appearing in a Hollywood movie with Jamie Dornan and Emily Blunt—is the fact that you’ll be paid for it.

West Coast Casting describes the upcoming film as “A madcap love story with soaring lyricism”…”set against the breath-taking landscaped of rural Ireland, where everyone is half mad with loneliness or love, and the weather is terrible.”

The open casting will take place between 10am and 6pm this Saturday, September 14th, in Ballina Arts Centre, Co. Mayo, and people are encouraged to just show up and chance their arm.

And if you’re a little too far away to make it on the day, don’t worry—the company are open to receiving applications through email. Just send your details and a recent photograph to [email protected].
